Nice, its a good looking vit, how is it? Everything you expected? Better than an SJ? I know you wanted something more comfortable, It looks really tidy, whats the fuel consumption like with the auto box?
Re: Moved on from SJ LWB to Vitara LWB
The SJ was more my machine for off road in the forest, loved how it drove. The Vit is a bit more car like and to be honest a lot more wolly on the road, but actually I am beginning to like it and even Mrs has driven it twice.
Daughter says its ugly on the outside but actually very nice on the inside...
Changed both the front wings for £60 incl delivery so the outside is very tidy now.
Either rad change or head gasket could be on the way out so that will be done and both sills done and I reckon shes good for many years.
It didn't have a towbar fitted when I bought it, so its never towed. the sunny thing is its got loads of electrics. sunroof and all and only one rear windo does not work, all else works grand.
Anyone know how often timing belt should be changed, its got full dealer history to 80k miles its on 91k now.
cheers

300 miles on one tank? Are you a nun? I get about 190 if I'm very very careful! Nice Vit btw.
If it ticks over...leave it

Re: Moved on from SJ LWB to Vitara LWB
I can squeeze 250 out of my SJ if I'm lucky, but I must admit I've actually run dry on less than that before too.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
