my little project

Post by stevepsj413 » Fri May 31, 2013 11:36 pm

Just bought half an sj, the other half was victim of the rust demon, thought it was time i learnt to weld! A few pics of my progress so far, not the neatest of jobs but it should be strong.

Welcome! And some very nice work there, glad to see another SJ saved from the scrap heap. If you get stuck you are in the right place, just ask

nice work, looks like you learnt to weld pretty well. are you going to put any bracing under that rear floor to prevent sagging and vibrations?
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Hi and welcome.

Looks tidy. As said that floor will probably rattle and vibrate a lot without bracing. Unless its sat straight on the rubbers on the chassis but even then it will vibrate.
