Re: Shocks n springs cheapo
What is the need for rear springs on the front, what does this do??? and why are the astra shocks on the front and land rover/transit shocks on the rear any different to standard sj shocks??

Also, what is the advantage of bedford rascal springs on the rear??
Re: Shocks n springs cheapo
if you look at the shocks on your suzuki you'll see that the are differet fittements on the front and rear. The rear ones have an eye at each end and the fronts have an eye at the bottom and pin at the top. Astra shocks only bolt straight on to the front because of this and you need to make an adapter bar if you want to use them on the rear.
As for the springs, rascals on the rear and ruf (rears up front) will give you a bit around 1.5" lift and move the front axle forwards a bit so you can fit bigger tyres

Thanx guys......i've now decided to go for the pro comp's....as said above...its better to have the one's that are made for the job! Dan2k...where did you get yours and how much did ya pay for them?
Oh and good news(for me that is...... ), next wknd i'm doing my long awaited mod's...well thats if my mate dont let me down again......
So the seals will be cut out......then fit my1 of a kind slider's...and the cab cage...i'm also playing with the idea of removing the soft top and turning it into a hard fast back,i have a few ideas and odd couple of sketches....so it'll be interesting to re how that pans out!
am i being a little too hopefull that i'll get the slider's,cage...also hopefully will have the shocks and front replacement springs... Hmmm lots to do on 1 wknd!
