Not much progress to report i'm afraid today. Jobs been stopped due to alternator issues. Main one being i don't have one that'll fit.

Radiator is almost sorted. Power steering pipes to sort, possible fab job with some copper pipes.

See how quick i can get an alternator. (Or a pulley)

Well. Providing i can source some copper pipe and associated fittings, i think i'm gonna cut the banjos of both ends of my existing pipes and fit unions. Then flare the ends and make a custom fit copper pipe to run between the pump and the the PAS box.

I'm gonna sleep on that one. Think i've sourced my alternator though.

Looking good fella, keep it up.

I'm glad to see I'm not on my own with little "challenges". They just test the grey cells, but you will get there. Some jobs aren't as easy as anticipated, but that will just give you a bigger sense of achievement when you succeed.

Keep up the good work, I'm sure you will be finished before me.

On the power steering high pressure side, don't you still need a rubber hose section to allow for engine movement/vibration. :er:

Yeah. I have some small rubber sections with the machine made coupling at either end and then copper pipe sticking out. May utilise these to allow for movement.

Vit alternator arrived about half 8. Many thanks to Timwilks for collecting it from Pickering on his way down.
