Astra shock part no.

Post by timwilks13 » Thu May 23, 2013 1:33 pm

Just rang my local supplier for a quote for some mk4 astra front shocks, but they say they cant find the part without a registration number, distinctly unhelpful! Does anyone either a) have a part number for these, or b) own a mk4 astra (as a second car i hope!!) that they dont mind me giving the reg to get these ordered?

Fairly sure these are the right ones.

The have eye at the bottom and pin on the top. Bolt straight on the front. Scotties modified them to fit the rear.

I was reading through loads of these forums, which is why i wanted a quote for them and could have sworn someone said they were using mk4 fronts, my mistake! mk2 rears it is then!

Scottie is the part number 343047 on the link that Jordi gave for mk4 rears?

These are the ones I used. Not sure of the MK now, but they fitted a treat on the rear with an angle iron bar at the top. I haven't fitted them to the front yet.
