Um.. The title says it all..I would like to see if my 'sump' oil leak is in fact a leaking front crankshaft seal that is showing just fwd of the oil filter.

yes you can but it might be quite awkward

I changed the one on my SJ without removing the engine. I did have to take the radiator out tho.

There is more space on the front of an SJ for access but I'm sure it can be done.
Gotta make sure you get that crank pulley bolt torqued up properly again when you do it though
