meetings events anything in the North East or nearby

I`m new to SCUK and I would like to know if there are any meetings/events anything in the North East or nearby.
Also can anybody suggest places to get Vit parts and accessories in the North/North East or websites even.

I don't know much about local parts but there are plenty national suppliers like bit4vits. The forum is also great for parts and bits.

If your interested in trialling theres Raiders 4x4 base in the NE, they use sites near Sunderland and in Northumberland. I'll be rejoining when I get my LJ back on the road one day!!
