Re: Onother Suspension question
That's a very nice looking truck
On the first pic it looks like the front wheel is off the ground but the missing link isn't fully extended. Are the front shocks holding the wheel up a little?
You've still got plenty of downward flex, but maybe a little more is possible (if you want) with longer shocks.

Re: Onother Suspension question
As I mentioned in another thread, you can use mk2 (i think) astra shocks... rear ones
Just check that they are the type with ring connectors on both ends

and i think i may be half out on the mk number... maybe mk4 shocks instead, but id try and check the open/closed lengths before buying

Re: Onother Suspension question
mk4 look too short in the pic. Astra's are still a bit firm on the rear. What rancho's are you using?

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Last night I adopted EKTOZ as the son I never had - for reasons of cheap help LOL!!
It is a pity we don't have more knowledge on the rating of shock absorbers and a sticky database of useful stock numbers of suitable (cheap and expensive) alternatives.
Is there a standard measurement of a shock absorbers softness or hardness?

Re: Onother Suspension question
I run L200 shocks on the rear and ranchos on the front.
Its fine for me. Some may find the L200s hard as they are designed for a big pick up.
