Hmmm, i dunno, sacrificing a repairable LWB so it can be butchered into a SJ/caddy half breed?
Gonna have to disagree. They're rare enough as it is.

OMG, the one on the left, I had one of those when I was a kid. I think it was Ripmax or something. An RAF crash tender, 36" long.
All dads will associate with this.
My dad asked me on the run up to Christmas. "Do you fancy a radio controlled boat for Christmas. Have a look at these.........."
So I got the kit, he built it (admittedly I wouldn't have been to as I was about 11 and it was all wood. Lots of work also. He wouldn't put a petrol engine in it though, just slow electric.

First car I ever had was an Imp...what a riot, put a breeze block under the bonnet and it handled like it was on rails. Ate throttle cables all the time so carried mole grips with me to drive it on choke only! Loved it, would like another one day, preferably the Stiletto fastback version.
If it ticks over...leave it

It's only repairable because I'm silly enough to take up the challenge 95% of people wouldn't botherJordi wrote:Hmmm, i dunno, sacrificing a repairable LWB so it can be butchered into a SJ/caddy half breed?
Gonna have to disagree. They're rare enough as it is.

Like we've all said before, anything is repairable if you are prepared to put the time and money into it. If its that bad than at least the rest of it could get a pretty good home with Dan. Any salavagable body panels off that could then be used to repair the others when needed.ScottieJ wrote:It's only repairable because I'm silly enough to take up the challenge 95% of people wouldn't botherJordi wrote:Hmmm, i dunno, sacrificing a repairable LWB so it can be butchered into a SJ/caddy half breed?
