Re: Lets get the ball rolling !!
Quick up date, Just spoken to a guy about another suzuki 410 he doesnt want much for it as it needs a new engine ! even though it runs and has 12months mot and tax. The problem i have is iam wanting it for parts really but its in such good shape. All i need of it is the free wheeling hubs ,passanger wing few eletrical bits. What do you guys think ??

Personally I'd buy it, drop a new engine in the wee beastie, and fleabay it. You'll make quick cash you can use to buy the bits you want from someone on here.OllieSJ wrote:Quick up date, Just spoken to a guy about another suzuki 410 he doesnt want much for it as it needs a new engine ! even though it runs and has 12months mot and tax. Sounds like a bit of a waste to me. There's no point buying a tidy SJ just to nick a couple of parts, when there's plenty of rust buckets out there. You could probably get all the bits you need separately for less than £100.

Leave it where it is. You've picked one to do now.
You haven't got the time, money or expeience to take on another quick do-er up project.
Shop about for the bits you need for the current project

Re: Lets get the ball rolling !!
I was thinking of taking the free wheeling hubs off and few other bits to get the black one through the mot as the black one needs a relay etc then i was going to sell it on .

Relays are pennies.
Free wheel hubs aren't an essential. Get basics done on the one you have, get it MOTd then start on little mods that you would like.
Leave the other one where it is!
Have you even sold the other one you have yet? Or that Audi?

Ollie, you must have known everyone on here would be agaist the idea.
Plus you only really need free wheeling hubs if you do alot of road miles. Keep your eye on these, there could be a bargain to be had .
