Where getting there now !!

This weekend I am painting the wheels and beadlocks, and the axle.

Prop during the week next week. Then il start on mounting the 8274.

WOW. those axles will make sure you won't have to eat your hat by the looks of it :D

I am not happy with it.

I am going to do more trussing, don't have faith in the long side...

By the time you're done, you'll have axles that would put tractor axles to shame.

I am happy with them. 2pk red beadlocks look cool, back axle needs another coat, ran out of gloss black.

Il build a wheel and tyre up this week. Should look pretty cool :)

Are the ends of the axle tubes sleeved or reinforced at all to prevent bending/flaring?

Or is it just a normal axle thats been trussed?

Just a standard axle, top truss long side, then trusses at the bottom. Gussets supporting the floating adaptor. Rest is just standard mate.

If this bends il go mad, portal axles or something. My dad has a contact in Europe who had them in stock :)

We shall see.
