Old docs

The place to socialise, and relax, if it doesn't fit into anything below it fits here, so tell us that joke, or share that story of your last off-road escapade, but remember new comers the virtual drinks are on you!

Old docs

Post by 88SJ » Sat May 11, 2013 6:05 pm

Just been having a clear out and came across my Suzuki brochures from when I was buying a new SJ in 1987 and a Vitara in 1989. Found the press release sent out in 1988 warning that the SJ was possibly going to be withdrawn from the US market because of the alleged stability issues. This was sent to every owner...at the time I was a bit worried about my residual value of my SJ but the matter was hyped up for a bit on the news and in the motoring press then the whole thing passed by and we got the 'all clear' press release

Anyway...hope you can see the pics

Cheers
Paul

That is brilliant, I love it.
Keep hold of it, you don't see documents like that very often!

Thanks for sharing
