well as most of you probably know, im 19, have a Full UK licence and my zuk is in storage 140 miles away, i cannot get a job to pay for the insurance and have been stuck in this situation for 2 years, i am extremely desperate for a job and will do any work for a decent wage...
please tell me someone on here is near to kettering and know someone looking for people to work for them....
i am a level 2 qualified mechanic and can do alot of work ie woodwork, engineering electrical on cars...

At 19 its your last chance to go for an apprenticeship really.
I went through one with a big company after already going to college off my own back which increased my chances of getting it. At the end you end up with a secure job with a proper employer.
I would get on with applying for one with any big company that does work that your already gained skills lean towards. You will do well in the selection process if you can prove you already have good knowledge.
All the major utility companys are a good start (Water, Waste water, Gas, Electricity) also Network rail or pretty much any other big company you can think of. I've already worked for the local electricity distributor and now waster water reatment company and the training and further development options are brilliant.
I'm sure others on here that have done the same will agree its a great way to find a solid career.

i just moved back to london from ketrin, i to am a leval 2 fitter and couldnt find work. i was at ATS harborough but they do take the piss on wages.
i know they always need people in kettering branch and will train you up on the truck and agri tyres if you need it, i got my c+g truck, agri and road side from them.
not the best money but if you need a job might be worth a try

I'm with Dan, apprenticeships are fantastic, I got myself on a government backed scheme when I left school, from there I went to the steelworks where I finished my apprenticeship, then a year or so out of my time I moved to a power station, I think I'm on a pretty good number now!
