I need to find a Subaru impretza master cylinder though as my brakes are rubbish as the the master cylinder isn't big enough. Scooby one is a straight swap.
It's not quite a straight swap Mike, but still simple to do.

must not be the same master cylinder scotty.

one of my customers has put one on his samurai which bolted stright on, i have seen it !!

it was like a 2004 abs model, i need to get the part number from him as i want a bolt on one.

but if not that looks pretty simple to do :)

all my parts are here now so i can get cracking on sunday, my mate who helps me do work on it has gone away for a week !! what a cheek !!!

but i should hopefully be able to get the back axle on the way on sunday. start another new job on monday, so time is going to be cut short again :(

but then again if i push my self to work on it in the evenings and drive my neighbors mad that could work too !!

It does physically bolt straight on but from what I have read you need to extend the plunger on all of them and the quick way is to seal the mating faces with silicone to make it airtight, however I would rather get the sleeve made so that the O-ring seals it properly and you don't have to use sealant myself.

Rads in and fans back on, coolant in.

Blimey managed to do something for a change.

On a negative not I took my 8274 apart and don't know how it goes back together !!!

I thought I'd buy a service kit for it. And oil and stuff, spoke to Jim marsden and ordered some parts, took one circling off and it pinged of and then the destruction started, there was washers, shims, bearings, clips, gears, shafts allowed the place !! Oh no what have I done !!

Dunno, just spent a lot of money on it and I just can't be bothered with it. Work all day the last thing I want to do is work all night and all weekend !!
