As i'm such a thoughtful chap i thought i'd offer out early morning wake up calls at half 4 saterday morning?

Any takers?

I'm sure that is supposed to be some kind of threat, but excuse my thick northern brain. What does "cherry bomb à la fire" mean? Is it some kind of colloquial wording?
