SJ broken into

Post by ferris » Tue Apr 09, 2013 8:40 am

Just went out to leave for work this morning to find all the doors on the SJ open and all my tools gone :bawling: .

They took....
Makita 240v drill, Makita 18v drill, Makita 18v impact wrench, Makita site radio, and probably worst of all they took my tool box with all my hand tools that i have built up over the past 10 years :pissed: .

Now i obviously can't work with out any tools so i'm going to have to go out today and spend hundreds of pounds replacing it all :pissed: .

Luckily i had the steering wheel disc lock on, otherwise they probably would of taken the whole thing.

ahhh, gutted man. I've got a lot of tools as well as I'm an electrician, and I'd be wild if they nicked mine. what did the police say? same old story from them I guess
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

I shouldn't leave them in there really, but its such a pain in the arse to take them all out every night.

I'v already had the police round this morning. They were really quick to be fair. Apparently they are prioritising car crime at the moment because it is so bad in Bristol. Just waiting for the forensic people to come and have a look now.

Problem is now they know were my SJ is kept and they know how easy it is to get into, its just going to happen again. So i'm going to have to put my SJ into hiding and use my other car for work. Luckily i'm moving out of this flat next month.

I'm a electrician too  .

They didn't take any of the copper cable though. Probably because they have clamped right down at the scrap yards now, and you need photo ID to weigh in any copper.

Thieving little gits need their fingers chopped off. Sorry mate some people have no respect for the work that goes into getting all the tools a man needs in life.
End of the summer last year mine got broken into but its a soft top there is nothing in it. they couldn't get the stereo so they smashed it :pissed: :argh: :argh: :pissed:

They didn't touch the stereo even though the front was next to the hand brake. Looks like they had a go at the CB, then realised it was crap and left it.

I'm just glad they didn't take the whole thing. I never let it out my sight with out the disc lock on it. But as i demonstrated to the police you can open the door locks with pretty much any key. Might have to get some Mr Bean style pad locks on the doors  .
