 didn't clean it before cracking on with work then, I can't talk I'm always doing that then halfway through the job with mud everywhere I'm wishing I had
That doesn't sound too good with the diff, I'm sure as it was only for a short period damage will be minimal and after a good thorough clean, inspection and fresh oil it'll be fine
Zuki Build

Right, remember I said the rear axle breather had snapped.

Axle is full of water and mud, pinion bearing feels alrite though and the diff is all ok I think.

But the axle is completely bent.

I'l put a picture up in a sec to show how bad it is, so I need to build up another axle.

Just ordered new saddles, the ones on it I have chopped up to many times before. Thought I'd order a clutch as well for good measure !! :)

People who are not sure about fully floating axles, basically that should be dead square in the middle !!

Haha yeh that's true !!

Il nick an axle of one I am breaking. The problem is they bend when you truss them. Need to jig it to stop it bending.

Although I think it's been made worse as its seen some action !!

The two most difficult things about upgrading a zuk: parting with the cash for choice bits, and finding the time to get the work done!

Actually working on these things is a joy, imho - but who's got time these days?
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!
