Django Unchained

Post by sam16v » Sat Mar 09, 2013 9:52 pm

Got given some cinema tickets, and went to watch Django last night, wasn't expecting it but, got to be one of the best films I've ever seen! Tarantinos best yet? tempted to go watch it again! Who's seen it and what did you think?

Saw it when it first came out, very good film, but Tarantino can sometimes be a little self indulgent and it could have done with a liitle more editing, the plantation scenes in particular.

Brilliant performance from Christolph Waltz, well deserved 2nd Oscar. I thought he stole all the scenes he was in. incidentally he's also to appear in the next Terry Gilliam movie, so that promises to be interesting.

Still think reservoir dogs is Tarantinos best movie though. Watch out for it on the big screen as its doing the rounds at some Cinemas at the moment, went to see it at Teeside Park, 225 seat cinema and I was the only one there, £5 for a private screening!!!!
