Hi.
I've got some lamps I want to put on the front of my SJ. I have them ready and I know how I’m going to secure them to the front. But the only thing I’m not sure about is how to wire them up. I want to wire them up so they come on when the Main Beam is turned on but also I want them to be able to be isolated.
I've attached a wiring diagram, the way I think I need to wire things up. Is this the right way? The two black boxes with wires going through are 12v 25amp 4 pin relays that have been in the garage for a while.
Before I start to change things, can someone confirm that this is how I should do it.
Thanks
Huw Jones

There's three ways of doing things,
1) The Right Way,
2) The Wrong Way
3) My Way.
2 & 3 are usually the same.

Re: Running lamps
The problem with most SJ's is they have a constant live to the headlights and switch the earth to turn the lights on and off. ( some Spanish built models are switched live).
I'm a little confused when you call the lights "running lamps" but show in the diagram that they are spotlights that only come on with highbeam. This being the case this diagram is correct for your use.
