Mystical black boxes...
Hi.
I've had a problem recently with the dipped beam lights not turning off when i turn the stalk. Only way around it was removing the fuse. I took it to work today and me and a few others attached the headlight system with a multi-meter and a Haynes manual!
We found that a small black box which sits to the left (door side) of the fuse box in the passenger foot well on the bulkhead.
It has a white rectangular plug that goes into a brown socket that is attached to this mystical black box. Its outside has fins on it, like you would find in heat sinks on circuit boards.
Does anyone know what this is and where can I get a new one?
Thanks

There's three ways of doing things,

2 & 3 are usually the same.

Ah ha!!
Thanks guys, much appreciated!! Thanks for the link turbo-tom
If I unplug it turns the headlights off. But I have to re-connect it when I need to use them.
Thanks

Hi,
The relay i bought off eBay arrived the other day and the connector is diffrent! Just by luck!
It then started to work without the relay plugged in. I was wondering, would this dammage some other component if i just use them without the relay plugged in?
Thanks
