It helps when I'm browsing the site! I can get rid of them nice and quick, gonna have to try yet another antispam system I think, this one hasn't exactly lasted that long before they got through again

Re: ummmm
I know it's a ball ache but the way we get around spam on the Wreck-it Ralph forum I'm an admin on (we've just started it up, a full 5 users so far) is to have moderator activation on new accounts. Then the spam doesn't hit the forum. Means you've got to trawl through the sign-ups and pick out the genuine ones but saves cleaning up later and deleting them anyway.ScottieJ wrote:It helps when I'm browsing the site! There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: ummmm
I used to do that Ed but its a pain in the arse to be honest when the site gets to this sort of size, we had the anti spam working perfectly, then when the new site went online it was also fine for ages but recently the spammers have hit us again so we changed the captcha and its no longer working again. I'm still finding my way around our new website admin system to be honest, I'm more of a hands on person than computers ill get it sorted though.
