as we all know, the older sj's don't have a tacho. I know you can get aftermarket tacho's, but how do these work, and how do they wire up?

They work by counting the ignition sparks (they do have to be set for 4/6/8 cylinders)
Very simple to wire up --

Thanks alot darell, always love the diagrams. Better get me a grommet fort the firewall then :brows:
