Sky Vs Virgin
My broadband with sky is a blistering 3mb and thats running it direct off the test socket. Its so reliable that only one wifi device can use it at a time.
Complained and argued and its no better so i'm going to virgin. Its effectively £6 a month more expensive but fibre optic
All the same channels we regularly watch and unlimited downloads. So i can stream films with no buffering and album downloads won't take 5 hours!
Just wondered if anyone had the virgin and what it was like?
Cheers

Awesome!
What speed you got? Im getting the "upto 60mbps". They built a new housing estate opposite me last years and put the fibre optic in. Now virgin has got more channels and the price has dropped thought we'd have a change.
Then ONCE MY SAMURAI has been modified a bit further i'll get the wife a smart tv.

Re: Sky Vs Virgin
Looked at BT and the cost was way up there. With virgin if you get the whole package price comes down a lot.
BT tv didn't have all the required channels either.
Getting it fitted the 16th feb. Then i'll have to remove old sky crap and take down all the wires. Entire house needs the exterior saving from 50 years of wires.

Re: Sky Vs Virgin
3mb IS blisteringly fast! I get 200KBs on a good day. The internet through my phone is faster if I connect it to my PC.
I'm with sky as well, but we used to be with Virign and it wasn't just slow, it was unreliable too.

There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
