vitara 8v head on sammy?

Hi All i have recently destroyed my 8v vitara engine and decided to strip it for parts.Anyway the question is would the cylinder head and Nikki twin choke fit on my 1.3 engine and would there be any difference in performance?

Slightly bigger ports and valves and a cam that is designed more for torque as far as I'm aware.

Should give a small performance boost and it bolts right up

Just make sure that the cam pulley has the same style teeth as the crank pulley, there's two types available flat and round teeth.

change the cam pulley to match whatever's on the crank if it is different.

found this out the hard way when i fitted the 1.3 back in and all the pullies and the alternator were different!
