Hello,
My axles just have trusses nothing special really.
It's what's in them which is the strong part !

Re: Axles strengthening
Cheers for the input Mike.
I don't think i need to go down the hardened shaft route. I'm only doing pay n play and laning. As i'm going to bigger tyres. Based on what has been said in other threads axle strenghtening is something i'm considering. Aswell as HD t'box mount and guard and diff guards.
I'm guessing your low gear is super low with the diffs swapped too and with the lockers be a helluva force going through those half shafts.
I only used to do p n p and tow it round. Now i'm laning i just want to beef the protection up for when i'm a long way from anywhere.
Cheers

Re: Axles strengthening
Yeh, to be honest I only snapped a shaft when I was driving like a tool,
My tyres are massive as well it's having to much grip is why they break.
My advice if you truss the axle do it the opposite way to how I have done mine, ie you need to truss underneath.
I learnt from rockwatt you loose strength by putting it on the top.
