Thanks, it took three years to build and three years of saving too !! That was before Alcohol and girls interested me !! Haha :)

Not sure what's next jordi, missing links on the back maybe? and a new front winch, put the front one on the back? Some how?!

The thing is I spent so long building it its now nice to be able to hop in it and use it. And be hard on it too, which is what I built it for. I want to chalk edge it next year in some events, but I need a winch partner !! Can't find anyone mad enough yet lol :)

I'll be a winch bitch ;) being in a suzuki rolling down a hill doesn't hurt as much as falling 10ft off a BMX :hahaha: I want to start competing in mine too at some point but still need to get a cage on and get some winches so I'm just going to start trialling it first.

Honestly i have no idea where you would go mods wise with a truck like that. Would something like the YJ spring conversion improve articulation?

As it's purely an off road toy you could go to coils?

I'd imagine the 16v gives enough power especially with such low ratios. Rust free body requires no attention.

I dunno. I'm sure you'll find something to improve on it.

Id bung in some wheel bearings and spare HT leads, rotor arm and little bits like that just in case something plays up. Oh and extra fluids etc.

There's not much you need to do I don't think, your already planning on a rear winch etc aren't you.

One small thing I would suggest though is maybe adding some extra tubes into the cage below the existing lateral tubes, above the tops of the doors and edge of the roof, I noticed the other day that those areas look a little bit vulnerable to tree damage, especially if you want to do winch challenges and might end up rubbing a few trees  would be a shame to dent the body there when you've done so much work restoring it.

No I am not a fan of anus springs or coils, sorry !!

But yeh rear winch and a better front one, missing links on the rear? If they release the kit in America.

Yeh the cage isn't the best anyway. I was going to get another one made, with an x brace behind the seats maybe. Just waiting for someone I now to start up, and he'll be making me one :)

Them spares cost money Scottie !! I can't afford new bits lol, il see if I have any lying about but I am not sure I do, just had to insure my truck so I have bugger all money at the moment :(

I am going to do the Slindon round one of the mud monsters challenge series. Should be an eye opener if nothing else. The thing is, it's got lockers which do most of the work, so I hope it won't get rinsed by all the lawn rovers that will turn up.
