2 SUs sorted

As some are aware im going to do a 1.6 conv. But also want to do su conv on my SJ tin top and KJA. After months of searching i finally got two HIF44s for a not bad price of £90 delivered.

It's insane. Like the engine hunting wanted silly prices. People were wanting £100 plus for an SU. And people were paying it!

Found a seller on ebay with two and, again haggled a bit to do a deal. Not as cheap as my last one. But a price i'm happy with. So that'll be 3 manifolds, 3 air box adaptors and a rocklobster for rockwatt most likely. Not sure if i'm just gonna fit the elbow of my sammi to the SJ. I'd rather do it properly if funds allow. As far as i'm aware there off 1300 minis so may be suitably setup to go straight on.

Whoo hoo!!!!!!!

I'm happy with it. Also means with the exception of starter and carb i can keep the sami engine intact as a spare. I can rob all the extra bits off my current spare 1300 to go onto the 1.6.

Once again i'm collecting parts for a major modding session. Hoping the new engine still has PAS pump attached. Don't know if my jimny pump would bolt straight on. And as an extra plus if it does have PAS pump i can recoup some £££ by selling the jimny pump.

Or more like look for another PAS box and fit it to the SJ, lol.
