Yes mate, I'm hopefully down the garage all day so pop over! Thanks for that darrell I can cap all those off! Fingers crossed ill here her running! Do they need tuning afterwards?? Sorry bout all the Qs!

Went round to meet John today to have a little look at his Sammy and help get it running.

Its a nice truck (better than it looks in the pics) and with a few little patches of welding will be very solid.

Got her running nicely on the webber and as a SU man myself it pains me to say I was rather impressed with the kit.

Not changing the SU anytime soon though. :D

Shame the seats aren't fitted so we couldn't take it for a spin.

Oh and thanks for the wiper linkage John. Saved me some hassle there.

That looks like a nice Zuk. Always seems that little bit easier making stuff work with a bit of hand. Congrats on the firing up.

I don't think i'd change from the SU, since i fitted it 3 years ago i've never had any issues that weren't caused by my own lazyness or stupidity.

I've ran various other carbs on my SJ and they all break in the end. Don't like water in my experience.

Plus webbers are rare second hand and mega bucks new!

No probs dan that's the least I could do, thanks again for your help! I will prob be down there again tomorrow, hopefully getting the last little bits done and poss get the seats in.

Oh and thanks for the spin in your truck, had a massive smile on my face when I got in ( I think the wife was wondering what we'd been up to ;) ) ha. But def keen on the vit lump but might have to wait as going to just enjoy driving her round for a bit!
