New shocks, what do you reckon ?

Post by Sexuki » Tue Aug 02, 2011 8:59 am

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-SJ-SAM ... 4153a4d9ae" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I was thinking about getting some of these off fleabay. I was wondering what you guys thought of them if any of you have got a set and if there would be any advantage to getting some over my standard crappy ones on at the minute.

Ive got add a leaf but thats all

Will that bar thing be a good idea?

Thanks :salute:

I've got astra shocks on mine. They seem to go quite well with harder springs, but they can be floppy with soft springs I think...

Vauxhall Astra MK2 (rear?) shocks. I think they vary slightly between models, the softest being the standard hatchback ones, then saloon, then van/estate and then the sport-ier SRi and GTE ones.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Anybody know the min and max length of these?

Could be a cheapo solution to my rear shock absorber problem.
