Hi my suzuki is about to die but only because there is something wrong with the engine and a wire melted the other week im just looking for some one to come round and do some much needed work on her.

Oviously if would pay you

The bigest problem is that as it doesnt run i cant move it so its sitting in the field getting soaked!

Have you not got a vehicle to tow it out of the feild with? I thought you lived on a farm? surely you have a tractor your dad could tow it with?

what wire melted?

no its just a 10 hacor field we used to have a tractor and the x5 is crap at pulling stuff out the field

If it was 30 miles instead of 300 mate I'd be happy to come round. I live up by the Humber, sorry.

Yer thats fair mate

The problem with the engine is that you put it in any gear and put your foot flat to the floor it loses power and cuts out !!!

cool! i wish i had a 10 acre feild! but have you thought of just calling a local mobile mechanic? any half decent mechanic should be able to get a little sj going. and same as edweird i would help but i also live a little to far...

Right, so she's got no power. That narrows it down to intake, ignition, combustion and cylinder head I reckon.

My SJ is gutless when she's cold but your problem sounds worse than that.

Is she sparking on all four? What are the coil, plugs and leads like?
Is the carburettor any good? Does she cut out when you open the throttle when not in gear?
Is there a leak in the intake manifold perhaps? Or maybe there's not enough compression?

Right well attached is a picture of the wire its number 2 !!!!

Well when it was in nutral you could rev it for ever and it wouldnt cut and it turned over nicely. the problem as occoured sinnce i took the useless snorkel off and i have run it twice for about a hour in total without a air filter on !! thanks

yer the problem is that they would get stuck in the field at the moment as like a hour ago i got my dads old car thats for sale and pulled the anus half way up the field. Then got stuck!

I'm surprised it will start if the fusible link is gone.

I replaced the fusible link with a 30Amp inline fuse.
