My mate has put one in his tractor and reckons they make a big difference, his farm is in the middle of no where, surrounded by hills and he doesn't loose signal anywhere. He used to struggle to get signal before.

I've just ordered one then, forgot all about them till i saw this!

I'm not sure exactly but you put it into a live wire and it boosts the signal strength. somehow?

ive got a universal ariel in the boot/whats left of it and it works well but i cant get all stations buts thats pretty obvs most of the time i can only hear my exhaust

I used to have one tied to my rear view mirror it worked alright

what do you think dazerede? mine just seams to make it worse! amplifies the interference. I'll have to see how he fitted his to the tractor

I aint got one either. Chop that fella off. Weld over the hole to save your windscreen surround rotting and put some decent music on!!!!
