i've just put a Midland alan 78 in mine, its seems fine so far but i've only tested it on my dads Beta that was at the end of the garden haha i have a retro looking one but just wanted something that would sit out the way, with a scan feature. Think i paid 30 something 2nd hand off ebay.

I have a newer slimline Midland one (think its a 38). Does the job nicely and fits in the ashtray slot in the Sammy dash.

Was on a mag mount for a while but got fed up with trees knocking it off.

Now mounted through spare wheel carrier and SWR'd and does well

Nah. Not for sale. I bought that one new. Super little CB. Ideal for when there is a few of use together. Quite a few of us have that cb or a very similar model.

One is for the radio and the other for the CB. Probably not recommended but it seems to be fine to me, i haven't got the anus finished yet so i don't know what its like when out and about.

I have a retro uniden which is brilliant, (sorry for the photo flash)

I also bought a burner (on the shelf under it) but it just boosted my signal to dangerous levels!

Image

part of my cb criteria was to have a PA Output to connect to my speaker under the bonnet
