vw vr6 into a samurai ???

hi,ive been wondering for quite some time ,but now ive been offered an engine i m thinking of doing it ? anyone done it before? are the bellhousing bolts same as a golf tdi ?? .
any help would be great !

The bell housing bolt pattern is different to the 4 pot VW engines so you'll have to make your own conversion plate/bell housing.

yea its all pie in the sky at the moment Im not into all that wadeing bussiness so it would be fine ! would the gearbox etc handle it for long???
