I've gotta admit scottie being back in the garage the past few weeks has given me a great buzz. As you've seen from my other posts i'm back on with mods and maintenance. As we all know they are so easy to work on, and for cars of their age parts are still easy to get and pretty cheap if you shop about a bit.

I just saw that and had to have. Been on about a pickup or astra van in recent months for doing the tip run. Shopping at wickes. Moving garage gear about and this ticks all the boxes. No major mods planned. Just buy it while the gettings good.

I'll sort a nice warm spot in the garage for her for now. Next to the window i think.

Just gotta get it home.

Ace! I think with the rarer models like the LWB and Kja it's best to keep them as standard as possible, all cosmetic mods to mine are going to be 100% bolt on and reversible.

hope all goes to plan! and make sure you get plenty of pics!

There will be plenty of pics. Only mod i have in mind is the SU.

I could get hold of a set of trade plates to bring it home. But even 75miles in an unseen SJ sounded stupid to me. Its was a daily drive but has been sat a couple of months now. So it'll be towed or trailered.

The anticipation is killing me.

I've done the drive before when they used to have the rhino rally at tong (parkwood off road).

It was puffing and panting on the way. Never mind stopping and trying to clean the rad out on the way home. And adjusting the carb every 5minutes. It was after that escapade we made the a frame to tow it.

It all just adds to the fun.
