:welcome2: to the site Helen :doublethumbs: Did Dan mention that I now hate you both for owning such a nice 410 and that I will be over one evening this week for a test drive ;) (I promise I wont leave a mk2 golf gti at your house and forget to return the SJ ;) )

Scottie if you come over tonight there will be another one here that belongs to a guy at work that Ive gotta weld a small patch on. So will be three for you to look at. Or 4 if you make the 1 min walk to Trotters. Starting a bit of a collection in Swindon now!

One thing it does need is a expansion bottle that clips to the side of the rad bracket if anyone has one? I have lent her mine for the mean time.

Well! Thanks for all the welcomes!

Drove the SJ to work and back today and it is so fun... nearly got thrown out of it when driving over the first speed bump at work! Slowed down for the next one

I cannot wait for the moment when Trotter comes home from holiday and pops round the corner to our house, expecting the golf to be on the drive... but instead he will see my beautiful SJ!

I shall definately be taking the SJ to the Suzuki show, fingers crossed there will be prizes for cleanest car, not just muddiest car ;)

Still trying to think of a name for it, Dan suggested Suzi but I really don't like that name.

Any other suggestions?

Helen

A boys name or a girls? If you want a girls...... SJ turned to samurai which is a sword, yours will be Japanese so another Japanese sword is the katana (and is the Indian SJ410 model name) katana....similar name, katie

Hi,

So here's to my first 'modifications' of the anus! :D

Removing the Sanex bottle...

...and fitting the expansion bottle that I stole from Dans anus. :doublethumbs:

Then off to Dunelm to add some warmth and creature comforts to the rear bench seat, the Cookie dog loves it. :D

Fingers crossed for the rain to stop so that I can sort out the sun roof, and give the car a good clean and polish. I also need to get hold of some rear seatbelts.

:poke: I really like this smiley! Im the one with the stick, dans the other one :D

Robbing parts from hubbies truck? That's horrible*.

Glad you're liking the SJ, seems like it's gone to the right home - with the right TLC that truck might stand a chance of being seen on the roads 20 years from now. By which time it'll be a propper classic, and probably worth a fair few pennies too!

I don't think the rest of us can say the same about ours!

Ain't that the painful truth.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
