I've no idea why that second pic isn't showing :er: it was earlier! I don't think its any thing complex just a bit of box section,

2" box section, with 5mm (or close enough) wall and 11cm long,

This was for my rear bumpstops, I've not got around to fitting them yet, but that's how they came with the kit, if your offroading a lot I'd defiantly recommend fitting them as it will stop your springs from over extending and dieing a premature death

ahh fare enough :D , cheers again , but just seams strange why they never did it to the bumpstops , and just left the standard ones in there? , think im just going to leave it for know as i ive never had any problems with them but if i do become across any problems then ill put some box section under there ;)

Ha! you won't have any problems until your springs are damaged! but I can't say anything as I never did it to my rear axle, Like I said before if you are off roading a lot then I would recommend fitting them

thats the front all done now :) , back to the back with the checka plate on the back ,
(really cheap company in Sayers common, west sussex pm for details)

well i want to create that truck cab effect but keep it open behind the seats and be able to make it watertight (if that is sucha thing with a sj!). so my idea is bikini top in the summer , fast back in the winter ;)

here is my checka plate bed being cut ready to fit!

pics tomorrow evening!

another update...

one lump of 4mm thick checka plate bit over kill, but as they say the bigger the better

Image

want to try and create that truck cab look again

cutting it around the roll bar doing a proper job as the previous owner couldnt be bothered and to face it it looked shit

Image

going to clean up the edge abit 1. so its looks pretty 2. it hide the roughness , using some more of stair edging the small bit is in there just so you get the idea ;)

Image

next step is to finish all the cutting then cut my filler cap into it :guns:
