couldnt you weld some brackets/tabs on the top part of you roll cage maybe ? ;)

What about cutting off the A bar on your front bumper and making one a bit bigger that will fit some lights in?

I would try the uprated loom from the pics I've seen it makes quite a difference to the amount of light you get outta the stock headlights.
