Re: Tramps Truck,
well I've had a very worth while day on the suzuki today (30/5/11) - Not really! I did do a bit though which is more than i have done for weeks!
I bought some seatbelt pads from ebay so I fitted them, And then I started it up, It took a few revolutions but with the choke in place and a bit of throttle it started up,
Some quality photo's from my phone
I also took some photo's of the window glass holder I still need, Mines rusted through totally,
Any one with one laying around?

Re: Tramps Truck,
No problem, any excuse to show my zuk off! Yeah i am chuffed its a great little truck but I'm disappointed in myself for letting it sit so long. I will get around to it but its still on pause for the moment, the prospect of all the welding is a bit daunting!
Re: Tramps Truck,

Re: Tramps Truck,
Ha that will be all the dust! The paint doesn't look to bad on the photos but the bonnet and scuttle are quite faded I was umming and ahhing anout having it resprayed but tbh if I'm going to that effort it could all do with doing!ScottieJ wrote:looking good, needs a good clean, polish & wax though Luke the paints looking a bit dull in the pics

Very nice seats, the GTI ones do look nice, especially when retrimmed like that
How do you find the shackle reversal on the road, I am about to do this on my KJA and have heard it improves road manors

Re: Tramps Truck,
To be honest, its not that different from standard apart from you have to take more care throwing it around corners....but any lift would do that, I also found it didn't 'wallow' as much probably because the springs are stiffer and new spring are always harder than old springs! On the opposite side of the Coin the ride was harsher at first, but it was certainly getting better although I was starting to get a bit of gangsta leanjustaddmud wrote:Very nice seats, the GTI ones do look nice, especially when retrimmed like that
