All of them from 1991 onwards have that grille, carb or SPI
... and mine doesn't have any graphics on it

I hate to say this twiss but your wrong, not all samurais from 91 have the mesh grill with the 's' I dont have figures but I'd say the majority have the 'slatted' suzuki grill, mines late 92 and it certainly is the correct grill, maybe yours has been changed by a previous owner?
-also you have no idea what graphics were on it originally, as far as i'm aware they stopped selling 'plain' sjs in the 80's

Re: Still Confused
Yeah its definitely the original grille
My mate has that grille, my mate had another 2 L reg's with the S grille, an M reg with is and he's also got an N reg with the S grille and injection
Findonchris has an L reg with the S grille
Mine and the M reg
The N reg fuel injection one... blurred my mates plate out before putting it on facebook though
This is another N reg fuel injection one, was lil beastie's i think?
This is chris' K reg with the new grille as well, corrupted image though
They're all plain ones as well.
Maybe then changed it at the start of 93 then?

You're probably right! mines a jreg so earlier than the others above, but only just! I always thought the s grill went hand in hand with spi, but obviously not!

Re: Still Confused
It's all a bit random then.... Luke, is yours spanish or Japanese?
Maybe suzuki just did it randomly in '92! They probably ran out of the SUZUKI grilles and had to start putting the other ones in lol

Re: Still Confused
I don't know! I was trying to load the thread in the new members section, where the chap had one like mine (so I could compare the year) but can't get it to load on my phone! Mines a Spanish samurai sport, maybe its on odd ball? It's just I've seen a few like mine so it can't be thay odd!twiss wrote:It's all a bit random then.... Luke, is yours spanish or Japanese?

Does the Ariel position have anything to do with it? I know early ones are mounted up the side of the windscreen but mine is mounted through the scuttle pan
Tom.... I personally prefer the 410 front end,
