Re: LJ80
Hi and welcome to LJ80 world. SJ410 engine bolts straight straight up to gearbox. Swap oil pick up pipe and sump over from lj engine onto sj. Use the lj clutch and flywheel. Also swap the distributor and housing over from the lj to the sj and i think thats it from memory. If you get a santana sj410 engine you will need to just shave a few millimetres off the gearbox input shaft due to spigot bearing on engine being smaller. If you need any more info let me know. A good site for info is http://www.lj10.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Hope its ok to post this link.

Re: LJ80
to :suzuki:club UK matey, glad you found an lj80 as above the 970cc engine bolts pretty much straight in but people have been known to fit the 1.3/1.6 using a 413/samurai gearbox however that does involve a lot more work. I'm toying with fitting a swift gti 1.3 dohc 16v in mine
Go on then post some pics up

Re: LJ80
Just a word of warning 15x10 wheels do like to eat wheel bearings for breakfast
I do love the look of mine but when it was my daily drive and offroader my sj410 used to go through front bearings every 12 months and rears every 6.
Depending on what your LJ is mainly going to be used for I would perhaps recommend to not go any wider than 8" unless you really must have 10" wide wheels
Just got me thinking I might bolt mine up to the LJ just for a laugh next weekend, not sure if 33s will fit with no lift though

Re: LJ80
Not done a springover. But with regards to the steering im currently looking at doing a high steer conversion. I have the mercedes arms that you need to do it. May be worth googling it as it may give you an idea to use it with the spring over. From memory i think that there is a half high steer too. If i find article ill post link on here
