Nice one Dan, now get that Body back on! ;) think you are overtaking me now, I just haven't had the time on mine recently.

It's going to look good in that colour :guns:

Had a bit of time after work so got the engine and gearbox mated. Dunno why people pay for an adaptor plate. Its like they were made for each other. Suppose the truth will be seen when the starter dosent engage properly :hahaha:

You do need to grind the starter or the block really, you won't be able to see it but if you don't it will not sit flush to the gearbox causing the teeth on both the starter and flywheel to not mesh properly and damage the teeth.

Got a bit to update.

Been working nights so getting a few hours in most afternoons once I prise myself out of the bed! :hahaha:

Dunno whats happened to the weather but its turned my garden into Glastonbury!

Sorry that most of the photos are in the dark but I've been finishing things late and wet!

Engine and gearbox on the chassis along with just about everything else

Cherry bomb I got of Scottie which needs a little work

Tacked up

Finished (Thought about high temp paint but the tail pipe is still shiny so Fook it!)

How it sits

Image

This looks rather silly as the way the chassis is sat it is flexing slightly and the suspension will settle loads (I hope) as it never used to sit this high! If not its time for 33's!!!

Got the doors and windscreen into the gazebo to strip and then gunna take them and paint in my dads garage as its getting a bit damp and cold for painting outdoors so hope to have it fully waterproof by the end of the week and put the roof back on it while I finish the front clip and bonnet!

The tarp blew off it last night so its now full of water!
