The black box is probably something to do with some previous towbar electrics, just cut it off :D

I think you might struggle to find a good fuel tank guard? I just repaired mine with some 3mm sheet metal using the original frame work to get rid of the flimsy old bent and rusty guard.

i might have a fuel tank guard underneath that white sj of mine but it might be toast like the rest of it is :lol:

Could you have a look please. Mine is completely broken the tubular piece is snapped i remember hearing it go in april sometime

What if i cut the box off and i lose all power to the lights? It might be wired in series???

The box isn't part of the original loom so it should be fine, I would imagine its just spliced into the original loom in parallel and not in series?

And also would it be possible to match this tyre up with another from somewhere? I have 3 and need a fourth for a different vehicle just to get through winter. Tread on these is towards the end of its life but should be good for this winter on my mums jimny, currently on bold road tyres :yuk:

I think I've got a spare one of those light guards as well. Shame as they don't fit on my bumper!!!
