so today i decided i was going to fail my mot :roll:

Below are the two sheets it took to fit all the failiures on, i also got an advisory that the split pins on the track rod ends were missing. And my emmisions the max i could get was 3.5 i came in at an impressive 13.32% !!!!!!

in fairness it could be worse, they are all 'fixable' problems are you booking it in again, this time next month?

they are all fixable, the 1st three all refer to one screw holding on the front sidelight/indicator cluster which also acts as the earth. The number plate is just a case of drilling two holes n screwing it on, the inner arches are just in need of fiber glass, the leak on the brakes is just a union that needs pinching tight, and that just leaves the caliper that is binding, which is just a strip clean re grease and bolt back together. oooo and i need to set the carb up properly!

nothing more than a couple of days work! just a case of finding them couple of days! lol

if your working outside like i do it might be a while. my minis been on axle stands for about 4 weeks and the weather aint gettin any better!!!!!!!

i cant work on mine as when i get up an come home from the mad house is dark, weakends i can an do all weathers.
is so bad i got a new vit last night an ant relly seen it yet only with a small light,

I know the feeling I spent five weeks every night last year to get mine motd new fuel hoses brakes, seats rear lights fuel tank leaking and my garage was full of crap so outside motors was reborn!!! you cant beat kerbside auto repairs for price and valu. chin up dan the mot is a joke any way!!!! :!:

devastating, sounds like a faulty earth somwere along the line!

got my retest booked for thursday at 3:30, got everything sorted that it failed on, so fingers crossed!!!!
