Re: G'day from aust
Thanks for throwing that pic up
I was going to do it.. I will see wahat other pics I got
Yea I'm a memba on auszookers
I got bored and starting looking for build threads and stumbled across the Lj which was cut threw the centre and made wider
soo thought I would join and check out what we have over the other side of the world..
basically any modifications here is aust need a modplate I could be wrong but.. LEGALLY we are aloud to without modification plates 2inch spring lift, nothing more. I think extended shackles are frowned upon.. Bodylift needs a modplate.. 31's are Illegal I think 30's are legal being the utes came out with 600/16's Í think the legal size is 1 inch bigger than standard size tyres here virtual lift are frowned upon.. but if its a rust repair its okay..

Loving that dashboard! It looks FANTASTIC!
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Hell yeah, Simons LJ is a work of art
Likewise I'm always browsing around various suzuki forums to see what people are building all around the world! it's interesting to see how every country sets their SJs up depending on the modding laws and terrain they drive I think no matter what though everyone is always trying to work/sneak around the restrictions in some way or another! we can't modify the main stucture (i.e. bobtail, change crossmembers) of the chassis or swap to coils without needing a £450 IVA test that is stupidly strict not as strict as Aus but still a pain in the ass!
Loving that walnut dash!

Thanks guys for all the comments.. been busy lately fixing lots of stuff.. done a big end a couple of weeks ago :( but its all good now... removed that engine and waited til another came up.. I didn't really want to spend alot of $$$ as I'm trying to build another car.. I managed to get a 1.3 samurai engine with an 1.6 vitara carby bolted on.. put it all in today.. yaye everything was good until I tryed to start the car... Battery is Dead... n I dont have any jumper leads or a charger, so I have to wait til tomorrow afternoon
