Hope you like it guys, theres still sooooooo much to do and tracking down the parts is brain damage :'(

I'll keep you posted :-*

Also the Raging Rhinos love their LJs http://www.ragingrhinos.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they should be able to help you find the bits you need.

Yeah, I agree. Only two things I'd like more than my li'l wagon. A long wheelbase SJ413 dropside pickup and an LJ.

That truck of yours is a beauty! What engine is it? The 850?
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for the kind words :salute:

She has an F10A engine out of a SJ410 I believe?

Looks like the front breaks have been changed to discs, yet again SJ I believe?

Managed to pick up a 5 speed Santana box (so i'm told) from fleebay, that will be well down the line though if I fit it at all.

Still trying to locate the indicators lenses that mount on the wings, all the window runners, window rubbers and the rubbers that go around the doors that seal the doors to the soft top!

She a great little truck, I took her up to London before she was sprayed and the look on peoples faces was a treat..............i pulled up at a set of lights right beside a Ferrari near Shaftesbury Ave, as people were crossing the road everyone was looking at the little LJ with my Labradoodle hanging out the back and ignoring Ferrari boy :hahaha:

I'm going to put these seats in:

http://www.carrelli.co.uk/Leather_Sports_Seats.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Going to get a new hood from Monsoon hoods, they quoted roughly £800-£1000 to build it in situ out of blue mohair, sound about right you think?

It'll need a bit of wiring, new carpets and I was considering checker plating out the back maybe?

Anyway, i'll keep you informed as i go!

Kind regards

Tony

That's ace.. One sold on eBay a few weeks ago for pennies. I was skint at the time.. I was gutted but this is fantastic...

I've never seen one in real life. I'd like to own one, one day. :rockin:

Are you keeping the sj mods or reverting it back to standard?

Hi Guys,

Heres a bit of an update for you..... :salute:

Managed to source brand new metal window runners, new door rubbers and new window rubbers

They cost an absolute fortune from a guy in Holland who had them as spares:

Managed to find a wing indicator and rear door carrier clip:

Found a lovely rear seat on Fleabay:

Purchased these seats and tried to fit them and failed miserably, absolutely choked :

Today I have had my new seats delivered, they came out of a smart car thats only done 20,000 miles, my brother said they look mint, lets hope so  I'll keep you informed on fitment with piccies in due course :D

A few more shots:

Still got soooooooooo much more to do, i'll keep you abreast as I go :salute:

Kind regards
