And the body is off ready for me to finish the footwell's, sills, rocksliders and get the engine and transmission mounted

I'm going to finish the body this week and then roll the chassis into the workshop

 Yeah it's the second time my sj has been down to the chassis in 2 years  I'm not sure if I ever want to have to do it again with this one

Got a bit done last night, all the inner sills are welded up and I've almost finished one footwell.

Then I descided to widen the transmission tunnel a bit more just to make it easier to get the transmission in and out in the future, still got quite a bit more to go as I'm thinking about raising the transmission about 2" so that my sj has a flat belly? it will raise the C.O.G. a bit though so I'm in the decision process :er:

I decided to bite the bullet and hack the body to make space for a transmission lift over the weekend, only had a few hours on saturday because as well as working on the farm I had to fit a new clutch to the golf. The old owner managed to fit the last one wrong :er:  meaning that the flywheel wasn't on straight, everything was out of balance and one of the locating dowels had bent the pressure plate :argh: I've been thinking for a while that it didn't feel right in the higher revs! luckily it seems like no damage has been done to the engine, It goes a bit quicker now too

But I had pretty much all sunday on it  with lots of head scratching as I needed to take an educated guess as to where everything will sit using pics from last time I rebuilt it.
