buzzing noise under dash
buzzing noise under dash
l turned on the ignition on my sj413 and the headlights came on, but they were a bit dull, also there was a relay buzzing under the dash, passenger side. The buzzing stopped when l turned on the side or headlights. l hadn't run it for 3 weeks. Any ideas what it might be ? craggy.

Bad connection on the relay perhaps. If you can work out which one it is, take it out and give the connections a clean and see if that helps.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

check the dip/dim unit in the passenger foot well. if it is this unit, a lot of people just remove it (although Darrell seemed to think you may need to connect one wire through) but remove it and see how it works,

Yeah it puts the headlights on really dim when you turn the sidelights on...
When it breaks it normally tends to just leave you sidelights and headlights stuck on dim!
