not good for Japan but probably good news for me as I work here
were expected to be burning coal to 2023, but if we don't build any new nuclear stations I'm sure we will be producing for longer than that!

Well thats not too good is it I wonder how many events like this its going to take before governments realise that nuclear power is a big risk. No matter how safe they think they can make it, there will always be something that test its technology to its limits no matter what it is.

They should just build the reactors underground... then it's easy to fill the whole thing full of concrete/lead in case of a disaster
