F.A.O Users from bristol
Well we are haeding down to the North Somerset show today (although the show isnt till monday)
We are unsure if we are taking the tractor yet, it is ready, and running well (see vid ) A friend is taking 2 tractors down to compete with, but he blew one of them up last night Popped a piston and the turbo went bang. If he can fix it by sunday then we will have a tractor there, if not then we will just be standby crew for the standby sledge.
Hope to see you all there, let me know if you are coming
I think we have got it right, you can see how much more boost it is getting when under load, it is about 4 bar when the smoke turns really black, but its not wheeling anymore just hovering a bit, so we need to have a look this morning before it goes

Looks to be a bit hear this year, but its bloody windy! Haha.
Re: F.A.O Users from bristol
A good weekend was had, Dont know if anyone from hear went to the show, i had a brief walk round late monday and was impressed.
Anyway back onto tractor pulling. A slow start with track issues and some of the modified taking a bit to start. Prostock went well with redline frenzy winning its class.
The lorrys (although not my cup of tea) went well, i loved "the bean muncher"
Next was our class, the super farm, after weighing in at 3658kg we had to loose a few KG, and passed our safety checks and where aloud to pull (phew, thats a bit of weight off my shoulders)
First pull, first driver was Dave, never pulled in a competition before but has done loads at home, he did well getting 86m ish i think Turns out the clutch was working well, loads of grip and put the power down well. The fuel pump that i had spent hours playing with and i was confident that could be opened up no more even after getting inside and playing with the rack did its job well. Considering tractors below us have pumps on there that can easilly put out twice as much fuel than the minimec we run.
Seccond Pull was Rich, although he didnt get his foot all the way of the clutch and rode it all the way down the track more work for me to sort out he still pulled well, coming in 1.6 M behind dave.
A great weekend, they both seemed pleased with the tweeks i had made and luckily i didnt have to touch a spanner all weekend

The weather was spot on! Although windy, i caught the sun, caught some throat infection, had a massive hangover and stank of diesel.
Couldnt think of a better way to enjoy a bank holliday
