I'm pretty sure I'll go for this look....with all the extra weight I'll be carrying i will have to sort out my springs....need a new dsf spring and aal. plenty to think about and save for :mrgreen: plus the worm has been feeding so the list goes on :P :twisted:

I've decided to fit a ignition control pannel/immobiliser/ alarm....not entirly sure how im going to link it all together :er: but heres wat i bought

i just bought some "bright"bulbs off the bay.....and i must admit they are quite a bit brighter than the originals so good times :rockin:

Also tomorrow i will do away with my fooked springs and those god awfull shackles and fit some new to me springs from top man scottie! :P

ooooo shiny, looks well 8-) . That will be fun to wire :er: Should keep the thieving chavs at bay tho, unless they have a degree in auto electrics.
86 SJ413 tin top, 1.6 8v, SU carb, YJ spring conversion, virtual lift, 33x12.5x15 KL71's, rocklobster, rear discs, power steering.

ohhhh i got the same panel. the switch marked ignition turns my coil on + off. ive also got a kill switch that disconnects the battery
im rewiring quite alot at the mo moving the fuse box putting in duel batteries and a panel of switches
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Well ive been round scotties all afternoon/evening "fitting" the new springs.....soooooooooooo bloody glad i decided to get him to help.....wouldve taken forever otherwise! :lol:

its amazing the difference,.....Drive/handling/cornering.........not to mention all the off roading benifits that go with the removal of the shackles!!!!!! :guns:

yeah ferris......its going to be an interesting learning curve!!

basically i wanna do away with the ignition barrel! :thumbup:

oh and ferris.....ya got 2 bulbs out on your rof rail......no's 3+4(above passenger) ;)

i kept the ignition just for more security but it wont start the motor thats wot the buttons 4.
i dont know if the wiring is the same on the 410(that is wot u got?) as the 413 i will have a look tomorrow get some pics

Good work :thumbup: looks much better, i saw you driving through Wick about 8ish. You must of just finnished.

I dont know why those bulbs on the roof rail have gone already. I rarely use them, every time i turn them on the stereo turns off :lol:

Yeeeeerman......just rolling home when ya saw me :smokin:

"turns off the stereo"???? sounds like either a dodgey connection/power drain!.....the fact the bulbs have gone....are they wired in right???
